(More) We booked a valentines weekend stay in a spa suite to hopefully spend some quality time together. This suite is way over priced for what you get. The reservationist did provide complimentary champagne and fake silk rose petals in the room, but everything else is not what is advertised for the price. The suites are small, the beds are not even top of the line Beutyrest. The jacuzzi tub is a safety hazard unless you are 7 ft. tall, my wife in the tub trying to get in and I have a rather large bruise myself. I am 6 ft tall. What came out of the jets when turned on can only be decribed as brackish sludge. Pretty gross to sat the least. They recommend their restaurant the Schooner across the street for dinner. Also over priced. Seafood pasta is not fresh, wine list is terrible. Pasta is over cooked and prawns and scallops were not thawed properly, still frozen in the middle. We rarely complain, we just never go back, but this hotel is no where near the value they charge. People need to stay away! (Hide)
