Silly Bus is supporting local charities again! This time, the educational media group is teaming up with Chick-fil-A for their third annual Operation Cow Drop at Hanover County Airport on May 8, 2010. Started by Chick-fil-As Virginia Center Commons and Virginia Center Marketplace locations, Operation Cow Drop is a day of family fun filled with childrens activities, entertainment, booths, exhibits and food from Chick-fil-A. This years event will also feature a musical performance by Silly Bus. Operation Cow Drop supports dozens of charities in the Greater Richmond area through the sale of tickets that represent mini plush cows. The actual cow drop takes place during the event. Stuffed-animal cows are dropped from the sky, and those landing closest to the cows eye win prizes for their owners. Proceeds from mini plush cow sales benefit more than 50 non-profits in the Richmond area. Event entry is free.
