I found this restaurant to be an excellent stop between Chicago & home. It is located off of I-57, exit 293. The service is quick, and the servers polite. It seems to be mostly a local restaurant, but it doesn't object to hungry travellers looking for a good meal. The meals are generous, and moderately priced. I will come back to The Loft on my next trip to (or from) Chicago, and I recommend you to visit as well.
