DETAILS
General Info
King's Keyboard House opened its doors in June of 1961. Dick King was the owner of the store which was located on Liberty between 4th and 5th avenue in downtown Ann Arbor. Jim King was 7 years old at the time and it was not long before he started cleaning and doing odd jobs for the store. In 1968 the store moved to Main St. until 1976, then moved back to Liberty St. In 1996 the store moved again to 2333 E. Stadium Blvd., also located in Ann Arbor. Dick King retired in 2006 and his son, Jim King, became sole owner. Jim moved the store in 2008 to where it is now located at 2363 E. Stadium Blvd. From the time Kings opened its doors to this day has been a family owned business. We hope you will come visit our store soon and join our family, as we are always looking to add new members.
