We paid cash for a one-year-old, highly rated auto. The salespeople lied about state law still requiring us to... (More) We paid cash for a one-year-old, highly rated auto. The salespeople lied about state law still requiring us to provide ALL of our private information despite cash (we refused although they tried to get it from us three different ways, trying to mislead us each time). They also lied about AK state law requiring their submitting the license fees instead of us, and their receiving a transportation fee for a used car (both cost us hundreds unnecessarily). Worst of all, they tried to hide that it had been in an accident. After we caught them, they lied about the severity, and then conveniently "lost" all the vehicle's records (which they said After we took possession). The only record they showed us reflected a small cosmetic repair and that is all they claimed was necessary because it had been merely a small fender bender. They did other slimey things as well, but those are the worst of it, especially trying to hide a previous accident and then misrepresenting the severity of the damage. (Hide)
