Skagit hospitals join forces to develop electronic-record network Skagit County residents and medical-services providers will soon realize the benefits of portable and secure electronic health records through a partnership of Island, Skagit Valley and United General hospitals. The Medical Information Network North Sound (MIN-NS), a nonprofit agency responsible for this project, is developing and managing Skagit County's health-information exchange (HIE) to share and store patient-health records.
