This place has unethical business practices. If you buy suits from here and have them tailored, not only will they charge you for tailoring but they will also charge you for a service called creasets, and not tell you about it. Creasets is a service performed by Mens Warehouse to make the creases in your pants permanent, so that you dont have to iron them in. According to the manager, applying creasets is a standard practice for all the suits they sellthey just dont tell you about it. And not only do they not tell you about it, its likely that the creaset service never gets performed at all. I purchased two suits from Mens Warehouse in Amarillo last week and was charged for the creasets, but didnt realize it until I got back to New Jersey when I brought my pants to a different Mens Warehouse to have the waists brought in (didnt have time in Texas). Once I saw the creasets charge on my receipt, I called the store in Amarillo and asked why I was charged for creasets, which I never requested. The manager tells me it is standard practice when they sell suits to charge you for the creaset service. I then ask the Mens Warehouse in New Jersey to show me what creasets are, because I cant see that anything has been done to the pants. The clerks in New Jersey tell me that the store in Amarillo didnt apply the creasets, but that I could have them done in New Jersey for another $20. Turns out that not only was I charged for having the creasets put in, but the service was never actually performed (which is strange considering the clerk that rang me up is the same person that performed the tailoring). The manager in Amarillo gave me my money back and apologized, but I could almost guarantee you that what they did to me is standard business practice. They charge you for a creaset service, and then dont actually perform the service. No one questions the charge on the receipt because no one knows what a creaset is. Even if they do question it, the manager will merely tell them what it is and that it is standard practice for them to do itand for most people that is probably an acceptable explanation. If not, the manager will merely refund their money. But because 99% of people never question the charge, Amarillo Mens Warehouse makes a significant chunk of money overcharging people. In other words, they are padding your bill and hoping you dont notice.Even if the store in Amarillo did apply the creasets, they are charging you for a service you never requested. And in contract law, that means you dont have to pay for it. You cant mow your neighbors lawn on your own initiative and then demand payment for a service that was never requested. That isnt the way the law works, and it isnt the way business works. Not to mention, it is highly unethical. I would be very cautious in doing any business with these guys.

To the author of the Sept. 30, 2014 review, whose family came in directly after working out... yuck. It's a real no-no to do that. You mentioned that the men in your party were "less sweaty" than you. That's like saying you went to a public pool and only peed in it "a little bit". No one wants to try on clothes that another person tried on when he wasn't clean, period. It should have dawned on you after both employees AND fellow customers were less-than-friendly to you that maybe the problem wasn't with them -- it was with your party. Next time you or your men have to be fitted for a wedding (and it's not like that happens every day), organize your schedule so that you are clean before going to this all-important fitting. Be considerate of others - it isn't hard to do.

My husband, son and I walked in after a brief workout at the gym- I was the sweatiest one because of doing cardio but I figured that didn't matter since it was the two males getting fitted for our wedding. When we walked in all the employees stayed behind the counter at the far corner and immediately gave us disgusted looks- I'm not sure if it was because of our workout gear or because of my husbands cutoff shirt and tattoos (he's a former marine). The customers also turned their noses up at us until finally a man at the rear asked rudely "can we help you?" My husband calmly replied "Well apparently not if you're not going to come up here." and we walked out. We will not EVER be returning to this location, and I'd prefer never using men's warehouse, but we are filing a formal complaint with corporate on this location. My family will not be judged on our ability to wear formal wear because we work out regularly and have to fit in tux fittings with our schedules.
