Decided to try Tomasso's tonight because our little town has few choices, many of which we love, but wanted something different. We visited last in 2004 when we moved to Alvin. Overall feeling tonight was that we were bothering the staff. I couldn't decide between fresh oysters or oyster poboy, but was told that all oyster dishes were unavailable. I ordered a ceasar salad with water and lemon and was brought water and lime and told upon asking that only lime was available. When the salad arrived 15 minutes later it was just the tops of romaine, therefore very soggy, with a particularly salty dressing. I politely gave it back after a few bites and was asked if I didn't like it, to which I replied "not really." I give one star to the waitress, their food was horrible and made diarieha to my wife and family. Their plates were small and even the kids were looking on what to eat.We were waiting for my and my wife's plates about 40 min and when we complained they gave it in bag to go. we had a bill not itemized but total and tip for waitress. A lot to complain about so I choose to pay and leave. Although I live in the area I swore never come back. thought to have fun but ended with frustration.Live and learn

My wife and i go to tommasos all the time. They have the best pizza, and there buffet was more reasonably priced then most other places. The selection of buffet items was amazing for a buffet @ only $7.00. I would highly recommend going. We also go in the evening around 7 or 8 and the service is great, they have the best itailian food by far. The resturant was nice and neat. What else can I say. Try it for yourself and you will see
