Although the merchandise is interesting and unusual, the owner is a very mean and horrible person. He verbally attacked my young daughter and her friend because, as they tried on sunglasses, he felt that they were not putting them back on the rack neatly enough. He seemed to be drunk or high, and proceeded to scream at her from across a busy store. He did his best to try and humiliate her, and made her cry. We will never return and will tell everyone we know about our horrible experience there.

Loved this store so much I put Birdland stickers on all my cars and even bought some for my friends! This place is really fun! Can't wait to go back.

Birdland totally ROCKS!!! It is a Deadhead's paradise, plus it's got cool jewelry and excellent costumes (around Halloween time). You'll love the excellent Magic Bus in the store window -- yes, a real VW Bus! If you ever visit Albuquerque go to Nob Hill and check this store out -- you'll never leave :)
