Although old and in need of paint, this hotel is clean and good value for money! The customer service is the BEST I have ever had, even from a 5* hotel. The sales manager and staff went out of their way to accommodate us and WE were very demanding. They took care of us with friendliness and efficiency. We unfortunately left them with some issues which they handled for us with the utmost graciousness. (I would have lost patience with my group). They really took great care of us and our needs. I would go back to this hotel in a heartbeat and I highly recommend it. It is not luxurious, but then we didn't pay for luxury, we paid for a clean, practical hotel and we got that, plus five star customer service. The best customer service I have ever experienced from any hotel, and I travel extensively, world wide. The hotel is in need of a face-lift, so support this hotel so they can do the necessary. They are definitely worth it!!!

I was disappointed. We stayed 8 nights, pre-paid. Many things in the hotel were needing maintenance. An entrance had acracked glass door with no key card security. We were moved to another room after 4 nights because our shower was leaking on the room below. The shower leaked constantly and the caulking was poor. The coffee pot was not working correctly and there was no chain on the door. We were told to move to a room where the air conditioner was not cooling the room correctly. We rejected that room, the next room offered was next to an elevator and smelled musty. We rejected that room. Finally, the 3rd room offered by a rude night manager (who told us, "I am not going to be moving you all night:") was ok but the toilet had constant running water, probably a worn flapper. Some of our plastic card keys had to be reset after one use. The day manager was very nice and the free breakfast was good. The whole place seems like it needs alot of maintenence. We will not stay there again. Was it worth it? Housekeeping was very honest, the televisions worked, and the rates were lower than other places. No, I do not think we will stay there again. And the website pictures look better than what we saw.

The Plaza is an older high rise hotel. The staff are very accommodating. The rooms are clean and nice. Everything you need is there..iron, ironing board, blow dryer, fridge, microwave, coffee pot. I sleep very well always. Comfortable beds and pillows. The heavy curtains on the large glass sliding doors block the light well. There is a hot tub, swimming pool and ping pong table. It is easily accessible right off the freeway. I always stay there when I need to go to Albuquerque.

The rooms are comfortable and have nice views, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Their free shuttle took me to my doctor's appt and back since I don't know my way around ABQ. In the evening the free shuttle from Ysleta Casino (called to pick me up by front desk) took me back and forth for a nice meal and a little fun. The restaurant next to the hotel has good food and is very convenient, especially if it's cold or dark, because you can just walk there. All in all I had a very positive experience. They even have special corporate rates!
