Hospice of VNS offers pain and symptom management for enhanced quality of life, wherever the patient lives. Although home is the primary setting, care can be provided to patients in nursing facilities, retirement communities, and other settings. Hospice services are also available at the Justin T. Rogers Care Center, which provides a home-like atmosphere for hospice patients who are unable to remain at home because of distressing and uncontrollable symptoms. The Hospice of VNS Center for Loss and Hope offers free bereavement support programs and individual counseling designed to support and assist grieving persons through the grief process. If you have any questions about hospice care, or are considering whether itís time for hospice, please speak with your physician or call Hospice of VNS. Hospice of VNS serves Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit, and Wayne counties.
