- Facial WaxingFacial Waxing - Make sure that skin is well hydrated by applying a facial moisturizer or oil daily before your appointment. Dry skin is more likely to experience irritation.
- Body WaxingThe frequency of waxing is determined by how fast your hair grows. Hair growth depends on the season, medication, hormonal changes, and medical conditions. On average, every three weeks is recommended for facial waxing. For body waxing every 3-5 weeks.

- Tanning
- Tanning BedsAvoid tanning beds and sunbathing for at least 2-days prior to appointment. Please try to have at least 1/4" of hair growth; about two weeks' worth. Exfoliate skin every other day for a week prior to waxing (not for facial waxing ) and moisturize daily. Frequent exfoliation frees hairs that have a thin layer of skin covering them and makes removal easier.

- Facial Peel
- MakeupImmediately following treatment, you may experience slight redness or tenderness which usually disappears in a couple of hours. There is very little risk of complication or serious skin irritation with electrolysis performed by a skilled practitioner like Irena. For the first 24 hours following treatment, it's best to avoid activity that could irritate hair follicles such as excessive sweating, tanning and prolonged sun exposure or make-up application.
