The International Health, Racquet & Sportsclub Association hosts several industry events, including conventions, trade shows, legislative summits and conferences. It monitors state and national legislations that impact the fitness industry s businesses. The association takes care that legislative decisions are taken in favor of the industry. The International Health, Racquet & Sportsclub Association also sponsors research studies that examine the psychographics of club membership, member demographics and the attitudes of nonmembers about commercial health and sports clubs.
