      General Info
      Christian Center was established in 1989 by Pastor Walter Buck as a non-denominational fellowship. When Pastor Buck went to be with the Lord in 1996, Steve Mellor, who was working with the youth of the church, became Pastor. The church subsequently joined in fellowship with Calvary Chapel. We systematically study through the Bible, chapter-by-chapter, verse-by-verse. Our vision is to fulfill the Great Commission given by Jesus in Matthew 28: 18-20 ; to preach the Gospel and equip the saints.The Christian Center is located in the desert community of Borrego Springs, CA. We cordially invite you to visit and experience God's presence as we worship and study His Word together.
