- Brunswick County Emergency Services is governed by Brunswick County in North Carolina. It operates the 9-1-1 Central Communications agency, which was founded in 1992 and offers emergency dispatching services for law enforcement agencies, fire departments and rescue squads. The center's Emergency Medical Services department supplies paramedic ambulance and transportation services in towns and rural communities. It also provides first aid classes through various organizations, including the American Red Cross, Brunswick Community Hospital, Brunswick Community College and Lifesavers. Brunswick County Emergency Services offers disaster planning services and conducts long-term care facility evacuation surveys.
