Front desk was very nice. The clinic is very clean and doesn't smell. Brought my dog in when I found a lump on her side. They didn't have the equipment to diagnose, so the Dr said he would check with their referral vet and call to let me know. Never heard back. Called the next week, receptionist said he would call me back. Never did.

Our family dog Macho jumped the fence to get a baseball. Me and my son were playing catch outside of the fence. He was hit by a car and the car came to a stop on top of his back paw. from paw to hind leg bone was visible. I thought we would have to amputate, or worse. You guys can go ahead and write all your negatives you want, but I am here to tell all, this place is no joke. After weeks of cleaning and care he came around and has not missed a beat. Have you ever seen a dog run into a vet clinic happy to get on an exam table? I have. The care he received was top notch, I am very satisfied.

This place is a hack job. We've never had a good experience with them. This week we brought our cat Stitch in for rapid weight loss and not eating and being lathargic. They charged us $207 to tell us our cat had flea eggs in his stool and his red blood cell count was low. They said all that can be done is blood transfusion and hope. We got no treatment, not even a saliene IV for the dehydration. We were recommended to go to

Cats only vet clinic in Norman. Within 20 minutes stitch was diagnosed with Haemobartonellosis. And is currently being treated and doing well. We paid $260 for an actual diagnosis and treatment that went above and beyond including a rabies shot and deworming free of charge. Shame on you Blanchard animal hospital. IMO you are incompetent or a hustle. I hope incompetent.

I personally do not have any animals that are treated by Dr. Simpson, but we found a newborn kitten dumped in a trash can, and Dr. Simpsons office took it in and is raising it. THey gave this baby a chance at life and I think he is a wonderful doctor!

I left two of my dogs for a week at Blanchard Animal hospital (6/28/2011 - 7/4/2011) when i picked them up I was shocked at the condition of my pets. They both had fecal matter caked on their fur and had obviously been lying in in urine as well. I was very upset and pointed out their condition to the girl working there and she said that if I didnt like it, take them somewhere else. The Vet. Walked in and I explained my concerns to him and he had no answer for their condition. He spoke to the girl at the counter and returned to me and said that if i did not approve of the service there, that I shoul take my pets else where. I continued to raise my concerns not just for my pets but others as well.



This Vet and his staff and not loving and caring for our animals. They are abusing and neglecting the animals we leave in their care.



Please mention to this Animal hospital that you read this review and are aware of problems with the services they provide. P.S. Tell you friends aswell about this clinic.

Dr. Simpson is kind and compassionate. My cat does not like men that much, but he likes Dr. Simpson. I recommend this vet highly.Thank you Dr. Simpson and stall.
