Ho-Chunk Health Care Center is a clinic that is managed by the division of health at Ho-Chunk Nation. The clinic offers diabetic management, podiatry, pharmacy, chronic illness treatment, and acute and optical care services. It also conducts health maintenance exams for people and provides dental care services. Ho-Chunk Health Care Center maintains a clinical laboratory and is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. It is located in Black River Falls, Wis. Ho-Chunk Nation is a governing body that maintains administration, housing, business, compliance, education and various other government departments. It offers a range of programs, including employee assistance, food distribution, waste water treatment, mental health, and alcohol and drug prevention and treatment. Ho-Chunk Nation additionally operates tribal aging units, health offices, health care clinics, hotels, recreational facilities, casinos, convenience stores, and youth services and learning centers.
