I fortunately stumbled onto Supervision Optical six years ago when I first moved to Los Angeles and was looking for a place in the area to get annual eye exams and buy contacts. I was calling around asking for prices and about certain issues I had (my father has Keratoconus and I wanted someone who was aware of this condition and could potentially help spot signs in my eyes should I start to develop any), and the person on the other end, Kamran Silani, gave one of the best displays of customer service I have ever experienced. (I mean how many phone calls do you remember six years later?) He talked with me for as long as I asked questions (the conversation ended up being about 30 minutes long), and tried to help me with all of my concerns. By the end of the conversation, I was without a doubt choosing Supervision Optical as my new contact lens provider based on knowledge and customer service alone. And let me just say as an addendum, the prices are great too! THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!!!!

I was trying on sunglasses at a department store when my friend told me I was not allowed to buy them there. She said I had to go to her favorite place. Supervision Optical is sunglasses heaven with a wide variety of sunglasses anything from Bulgari to Tom Ford and many others... Not only is their a variety of sunglasses, but the prices and service are awesome! I buy my contacts from Supervison as well and have never received such quick turn around time. If you need your eyes checked out, make an appointment with Supervision's optometrist, Bita, she takes her time examining the eyes and is wonderful at answering all of your questions. I've refrained from purchasing a good pair of sunglasses for years because I could never find a pair that was to my liking. I walked into Super Vision on a recommendation of a good friend who was impressed with their selection. I walked in expecting to be treated as just another walk-in and was pleasantly surprised at how welcoming the staff were and how amazing was the service they provided. From the minute I walked in they made sure to give me all the attention in the world and diligently figured out the kind of frames I was looking for (I am very very picky). After about 15 minutes they finally narrowed me down to two types of frames they were sure would be the perfect fit and boy were they right, I loved both frames and couldn't decide which I liked more. I finally made my decision and walked out feeling amazing with my new shades. The brothers who run this joint are amazing human beings who really want you to leave happy with a great deal on a great pair of shades.

I tend to think of myself as a discerning customer. Perhaps for that reason, I tend to find myself disappointed by most glasses shops--they are either impersonal (just out for the sale), overly upscale (with outrageous prices to fit the decor), or simply dull (the average optical retail store). Super Vision Optical, on the other hand, is a breath of fresh air. They have both an extraordinary selection and extraordinary owners who really care about what their customers look like when they walk out the door. To top it off, somehow personal service comes at better prices than I've ever been able to find elsewhere. I first stumbled onto Super Vision Optical because they were the only shop I could find in LA which had a hard-to-get set of sports (cycling) frames in-stock (a testament to their selection). That was 2006. Since then, I haven't bought glasses anywhere else. My father, my wife, and a bunch of my friends have become customers since--all satisfied.
