      Established in 1990 by Khwaja and Reshma Ali, KK Gems & Beads was founded on the belief that customer service is of the utmost importance. Because our customers are consistently satisfied, we have expanded our stores throughout the region, and we continue to grow. Being in the jewelry business came naturally for Khwaja. In his home town in India, his family and other neighborhood women worked at the local jewelry/bead factory. He was amazed by the bead designs and the inspirational jewelry pieces that these women put together. He was also fascinated by the process and the industry. His business decsion to open a bead, gem, and sterling silver store was informed by these early experiences. About 12 years ago, he and Reshma, his wife, established KK Gems & Beads with a simple goal: provide the best quality and selection of sterling silver in the region, and offer customers a wide variety of high quality precious and semi-precious stones, beads, and findings. Come and visit KK Gems & Beads in Gaithersburg or at the Bethesda Women's Market on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
