      General Info
      Swiss Village, located in Berne, Ind., is a continuing care retirement community for elderly citizens. The community is located on more than 180 acres and offers a range of facilities. The facilities comprise on-site banking, barbershop and beauty salon, transportation, gift shop, and chaplain services. It offers areas for recreation, such as arts and crafts rooms, billiard room, woodshop, auditorium, library and computer room. The residents of the community also have access to a range of medical services, including physical, occupational and speech therapy; rehabilitation from surgery; impairment from a stroke; hand injury; musculoskeletal conditions; orthopedics; Parkinson s disease; neurological conditions; and speech impairment. Additionally, it offers services in the areas of cardiac rehabilitation, arthritis, bone fractures, difficulties with activities of daily living, trouble with balance and coordination and cognitive disorders.
