      I have been to several physical therapists over the years, but I never felt like they were able to help me much. Karen really took the time to review all of the factors that are contributing to my pain and the weakness in my back- the way I stand, sit, walk, and my posture. She really helps me to understand the exercises that she gives me and ensures that I'm doing them correctly. If I can't do them correctly, then she gives me a more rudimentary exercise to build up strength in specific muscles that are lacking. I have done many of the same exercise with past physical therapy, but I can see now that I didn't do them correctly and was never shown the more rudimentary exercises that I've needed. I had muscles in my core that I couldn't even feel or contract when I started this process, and now they getting strong and doing their part to stabilize my back. I feel so much stronger already, and am in so much less pain. This has really been a life-changing experience for me.
