      The Beaufort County Emergency Management Services is a department of the Beaufort County government that provides emergency treatment and transportation management services. It offers free programs and pamphlets to area schools, special interest groups, and church and youth organizations. The department provides information for career fairs and gives tours of ambulances and equipment. The Beaufort County Emergency Management Services supports a free blood pressure screening program that promotes good health habits and prevents potentially serious illnesses. Its car seat fitting station program gives parents opportunities to call and schedule appointments to get their car seat inspected and tested in their vehicle with their child. Located in Beaufort, S.C., the Beaufort County Emergency Management Services has disaster trailer, bikes and golf cart units.
