      Very poor service , requested a slice of cake with a candle to celebrate a birthday , they came back to ask her name and everything seemed ok, very very poor service from server , had to ask another server for a drink refill , ordered salad bowl but gave my wife my salad as she only wanted a starter ( pregnant and not feeling like a full meal) was told by my server when she finally did show up that because my wife was eating my salad i was not going to eat and she only had a starter that i would have to pay $3.99 extra ?? This is crazy i was not going to eat the salad that came with my meal !! , and to top it off the server comes with the check , i asked about the cake and was told that this manager tonight does not do this , all other managers will do it but not this one .... Can this be real ? What crappy service and answer , i never asked for anything free ? Just stick a candle in a slice of cake , ask for the manager , she walks right past me and starts chitchatting with outhers leaving me to just stand around untill someone finally says i was waiting to talk to her , i tell my story , and of how i had to ask other servers to get us some refills, never came back to add cheese to my pasta , no slice of cake , never came with containers to take home left overs , the manager just looks at me and says "i will talk to your server " turns her back to me and walks away leaving me standing in the middle of the entrace area ... Woud not return again to Olive Garden

      I would like to thank the managers at Olive Garden I mistakenly left my glasses behind on the table they look for them and they couldn't find them but they happily reimburse me for my glasses and I thought that was just awesome. thanks again and the food was great too. sincerely Patricia
