We had a terrible experience here. We rented a 15-passenger van for our teenage daughter's birthday dinner. When we returned the van, they tacked on an extra $100 excessive cleaning fee due to "pet hair removal and odor." We had NO pets in the vehicle! I thought it smelled a little funny when I first picked it up, but didn't give it much thought. When we went to return it, the manager went to inspect the odometer and said all the "pet hair" gave him an allergy attack. When I said I didn't think I should have to pay $100 for an animal we didn't have in the vehicle, the girl behind the counter said, "You have no CHOICE but to pay the fee." I didn't see any pet hair in the vehicle. Who knows how often they get away with this kind of thing? I have since disputed the extra $100 with my credit card company. Steer clear of Rent-A-Wreck!

These people are thieves. They advertise a lower rate that their competitors, but charge exorbitant hidden fees when you return the rental. I will NEVER do business with these people again and urge others to BEWARE!
