While on our way over to Ed's to get my son's window repaired, he was involved in an accident which twisted the frame and totalled the vehicle because of the twisted frame. We had it towed to his garage and he allowed us to keep it there until we figured out what to do. The car had no collision coverage and was a total loss. The car was only four months old and we didn't have alot of money to spend. Ed took on the huge challenge of transplanting the engine/tranny from the '99 wreck to a 2000 donor chassis all while trying to keep it affordable. It took a little longer than expected but in all fairness, the weather was brutally hot and we were being flexible as he was with us. We went to him because we had used his services in the past when he was located at Lake Auto. He is fair, knowlegable and his prices are reasonable. Thanks to Ed and his son Chris for getting my son back on the road and saving us a trip to the poor house!
