Dr. Lucas completed her undergraduate training at UC Davis, specializing in large animal science. Upon graduation, she participated in multiple research projects to further her education. She returned to UC Davis to complete her veterinary degree with an emphasis in large animal reproduction & medicine. With a desire to provide quality on-site veterinary care, Dr.Lucas started her local practice in 2011. Since then she has continued to build her practice through her expertise & caring. While her primary focus is large animal care she is available for vaccines & preventative care for your smaller pets. With care & compassion she can also help assist in end of life care with in-home euthanasia services. Dr.Lucas is dedicated to client education & providing the best personalized care for your animals. She works with local 4H & FAA chapters to provide mentoring & guidance.
