I felt that Dr. Di Iorio was a great listener about my concerns and explained everything clearly and concisely so that I knew what to expect. He was always very cordial and patient and never pushed me to do procedures that were purely cosmetic, which I appreciated.
Dr. Di Iorio and all staff were super qualified and friendly. Scheduling was easy, no pressure re: payments. Billing always accurate. Professional yet personable. You will not regret coming to this medical practice!

My experience has been very good.my legs feel much better and look better. I feel like everyone in the office and the doctor were very helpful and took time to address my concerns. The procedure was not bad at all. Dr. Di Iorio was very gentle and explained everything as he was doing it. I enjoy going to see Dr. Di Iorio for my venous insufficiency. I have been educated now on the importance of the venous and lymphatic system. I feel this knowledge is not widespread as yet.
Therefore I am very grateful to South Austin Vein Center. All the staff are wonderful, too. Nice office.

- Dr. Di Iorio graduated with honors from New York University and earned his Doctor of Medicine from Rutgers University Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. After completing an internship in general surgery and a residency in diagnostic radiology, he completed a fellowship in vascular & interventional radiology at Brown University where he also served on the faculty of the Warren Alpert School of Medicine of Brown University. Dr. Di Iorio is board certified by the American Board of Radiology in both Vascular & Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology. Demonstrating his commitment and expertise in vein disease treatment, he obtained added certification, becoming a diplomate of the American Board of Venous & Lymphatic Medicine. In addition, Dr. Di Iorio has earned multiple advanced ultrasound certifications becoming a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation, a Registered Vascular Technologist and a Registered Phlebology Sonographer, certifications that document the highest standard in vascular ultrasound examination and interpretation. Dr. Di Iorio is an active member of the American Vein and Lymphatic Society, the premier association for health professionals dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of vein and lymphatic disease. He serves on several committees, as well as chairing the CME Development Advisory Committee. Dr. Di Iorio is the co-creator and co-editor of the American College of Phlebology (now AVLS) Case of the Month and a graduate of the inaugural class of the American College of Phlebology’s (now AVLS) Leadership Academy. Most recently, he was selected to serve as a committee member for the American Board of Venous & Lymphatic Medicine. Dr. Di Iorio has been an invited speaker for the American Vein and Lymphatic Society and has discussed vein treatment options on local TV in the Houston and Phoenix areas. After running a large vein treatment clinic in the Houston area, Dr. Di Iorio moved to Austin to be closer to a family.
