Presbyterian Village is a retirement community that offers a range of residential care services for senior citizens. The facility is a spread over an area of more than 60 acres. It provides assisted living and skilled nursing care services. Presbyterian Village has an over 7500-square-foot wellness center that features a heated indoor pool, whirlpool, massage room, tennis courts, and walking and jogging trails. It conducts training sessions for aerobics, stretching and Tai Chi. The facility also provides assistance with the activities of daily living. It additionally offers housekeeping and laundry services and is located in Austell, Ga. Presbyterian Village maintains dining and arts and crafts rooms, a library and courtyard. It has a 30-bed unit that provides treatment to patients who suffer from Alzheimer s disease. The facility organizes several recreational activities that include bingo, shopping trips and music shows. It is a part of Presbyterian Homes of Georgia, which has been operational for more than 50 years and operates several retirement communities in Georgia.
