After gathering experience working at a few custom frame shops he decided to open Abraxis Framing Co. with his wife Holly in 2006. His knowledge of color and composition enables him to address your framing needs with more than one solution. Eric was recommended to me by a dear friend who is a professional photographer. She said he did excellent, high-quality work and she was right.
I brought him two restored photographs that had been blown up for me to use at a memorial service I was planning for my mother. His compassion and understanding of how important these photographs were to me meant so much. He took the time to understand the setting in which they would be used and advised me on how to best frame and present them for this purpose. When they were ready in a timely way, I picked them up carefully packaged for their long journey to NYS.
It is clear Eric has a following. While there, I saw long-term clients show up enthusiastically to drop off or pick up their framed works. I will certainly be bringing him more things to frame and would go nowhere else.
Not only is Eric skilled technically and artistically, but his warmth and commitment to pleasing his clients and caring for their pieces is exemplary. I strongly recommend him.
