      If you want dental care where they look at you not as just a patient, but a person, I highly recommend Riverview Dental Associates! I was in extremely poor dental shape when I first saw Dr. Bernardy. He took the time to explain all of my options and was very non judgmental about the condition of my teeth. He listened to what I wanted. He did not try to push me into any dental work and was very supportive when I decided to go with extractions and dentures with implant supported lowers. I had my extractions done at the oral surgeon and then saw Dr. Bernardy for impressions. As he was leaving to go on a dental mission to Honduras ( yes, a humanitarian too!) before my dentures would be completed, he and Linda (denturist-who is awesome!), made every effort to get my teeth done before he left. They were able to get my teeth done in 3 days! Of course normally this would be a longer process and I am so very grateful they were able to squeeze me multiple times during that period. Thanks again

Dr. Bernardy received his doctoral degree in Dentistry from Case Western Reserve University in 1988. He was an officer in the Navy for 6 years where he served in the Persian Gulf War. A native of California, he moved to Maine in 1994 when he purchased the practice from Dr. Marcel Berube. Dr. Bernardy is a member of the American Dental Association, Maine Dental Association, and the Androscoggin Valley Dental Society. He also has additional continuing education in Orthodontics through the United States Dental Institute. As an outdoor enthusiast, Dr. Bernardy enjoys all four seasons whether it be skiing the slopes of Sunday River, bicycling the Maine roads, kayaking, or backpacking throughout the US. He is an avid traveler and has donated much of his time and talents to dental humanitarian missions in Honduras, Jamaica, Peru, Cambodia, and most recently Guatemala. Jeff Dettori, D.D.S. Dr. Dettori graduated with a doctoral degree in Dentistry from West Virginia University in 1992. He did his residency at Ruby Memorial Hospital in West Virginia.
