The company s mills in Chilco, Moyie Springs and Laclede, Idaho, produce more than 800 million board feet of kiln-dried lumber annually. It utilizes advanced lasers, computers, saws, and drying and sorting equipment for efficient operations. In addition to harvesting timber on private lands, Idaho Forest Group's activities on public lands fiscally benefit the educational systems of Idaho and Washington. The company also buys logs, stumpage and timberland. It provides computer-simulated scenarios that show what properties will look like before and after harvest. Idaho Forest Group was founded in a merger between Bennett Forest Industries and Riley Creek.
