I have taken my car for repairs to Harry's for over 40 years. My last time was just recent. I backed my brand new Outback into a wall with enough damage that I needed to have the rear bumper replaced. I picked up my car on a Friday, but after I got home, I didn't feel the paint matched as well as it could (I'm picky). Called them on Monday expecting the usual fight I get from other businesses, but was told to bring it right up and they would make it right - even provided me with a rental car. Now it looks just like new. I would never trust anyone else with my cars.

I took my car here because of the many amazing reviews I read and I am so glad that I did choose to go here due to my parents past experiences with body work done on one of our cars. Jan was very friendly and they did an amazing job on my Mazda. The whole passenger car door had to be replaced when someone backed up into it and left a huge dent. Also I love the paint job which is what I was worried about the most due to my car's very shimmery paint. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Excellent place to have body work done. They are very thorough and fast! I recently had some repair done to the rear fender of my minivan and now you can't even tell there was any damage.

I was recently in a bad accident when someone ran a stop sign and creamed my late model Mercedes. The folks at Harry's helped me with the insurance claim and did a great job of restoring my car to like new condition. Thanks guys!

Harry's Body and Fender Service in Asheville NC is the best! I recently had the misfortune of being involved in a pretty bad collision when I was hit by another vehicle that ran through a stop sign. My car was pretty messed up but the guys at Harry's were very thorough, efficient, and helpful - not only in the process of the repair appraisal, but also in handling the actual repair job. Now my car looks like new again! Thanks guys!

Best auto body repair shop in Asheville NC. Harry's Body and Fender service did a beautiful restoration on my Towncar. I was rear ended and thought it was totaled. The work is near perfect. It looks like the accident never happened and the car painting looks like new. It has a mirror finish and I am very pleased. They sent a tow truck and I did not have to pay for it. The insurance company paid it in the settlement. I would say, call (828) 252-0131 if you have a car accident.

I brought a restored 1963 Beetle to get the door repaired in which the door hinges had been sprung. Upon arrival, Benny (shop manager) looks at the door, goes inside the shop gets a block of wood and starts crushing it between the door and door jamb which dents in the once perfect door jamb (this is before any contract is agreed to signed etc).



Jan the owner is present at this time and does not seem to mind whats going on. Benny assures me everything will be fine and can be fixed. I have a bad feeling about this (always follow your first instincts).



About 3 weeks later and after not being able to match the paint, telling me it was ready when it was not, and me finally having to give them my can of touchup paint so they could match it, I wind up with a crappy paint job that includes the entire side of the vehicle (not just the door), a still crushed in door jamb, paint torn from the door jamb when tape was removed, a door that still does not fit right and a ruined interior door panel that had the clips ripped out (cost me an extra $200).



This does not include the engine lid brace that was supposed to be fixed but was beyond their capabilities.



Their website shows an impressive list of fully restored vehicles, but obviously I did not get the "A" list body repairman. It's sad that workmanship is so mediocre these days and no one seems to care what goes out of the shop. I wish they had told me they could not handle the job at the beginning. Now I am going to have to find someone else to fix their "restoration". They were very nice people to deal with but who wants crappy work. Do not use these people!

Do not use for classic car repair, quality control and expertise is limited......

Benny (manager) is outstanding. His guys fixed the trunk lid hinge on my wife's Infiniti. A couple of weeks later it came unfixed. No problem. Benny fixed it again, and right -- no charge. Also he replaced the "door stops" on her Infiniti (I bought the parts) and he charged only a few dollars. Honest, capable, fair, quick, inexpensive. What's not to like? This is NOT Harry's Cadillac, BTW. BIG difference.
