For more serious illness or long-term chronic illness (Diabetes, Cancer, Chrones, etc.) you'll want to serach for a dedicated physician in that field. Her receptionist can get a bit testy and always check your billing statements because every once in a while things will get added that the doctor never did. If you are on Medicare, this office will automatically schedule you for routine appointments (you usually do not need, but they want to collect an office visit payment from Medicare) without telling you. Then when you don't show up, they attempt to collect a missed appointment fee. Be up front with them right off the bat, you'll determine when you need to see them.
