      Hermitage in Northern Virginia is a continuing care retirement community offering a wide range of health care services to seniors, including intermediate nursing care, assisted living, dementia care, palliative care and short- and long-term respite care. Its services include weekly housekeeping, linen and laundry services, grounds keeping, home maintenance repairs, flexible meal plans, 24-hour security, scheduled medical transportation, 24 hours a day on-call licensed nurse and emergency call system. The facility includes dining room, guest rooms, lounges, cards and billiards rooms, weaver s studio, library and computer lab with Internet service, arts and crafts studio. It also has a fitness room, convenience store and gift shop, gardening beds, clinic, and spa with message table and century tub. Located in Alexandria, Va., Hermitage in Northern Virginia is owned and operated by Virginia United Methodist Homes.
