The staff at Salazar and Sons really helped me through a hard time. My grandmother was closer to me than my mother and to see her look so beautiful in her casket lessened the pain. I'm not sure what goes on with the preparation of dead bodies but she looked so peaceful as if she were only sleeping.

A funeral set up that prepares an obituary with only the info that shows basically the person lived, then died - nothing in between. Should have inquired with the family for preparation of obituary, like getting the Mom's name, daughter's name, surviving family members - after all, Jose Arroyos effected the lives of many, a good man that he was. He was put down without any recognition as to his being. Lousy rating on the part of funeral "services". And how much did they charge??? Simply put: The obituary for Jose Arroyos in the ALBJOURNAL on 3/19/2009 was pathetic. Shame on Salazar & Sons and shame on the family for not overseeing.
If lives are unique, services should be too.
