UPMC Health Systems is an integrated health care delivery network that serves residents of western Pennsylvania with services and products including commercial, Medicare and Medicaid health plans. It includes 19 hospitals and a network of other care sites throughout a 29-county service area, including doctors offices, cancer centers, outpatient treatment centers, specialized imaging and surgery facilities, in-home care, rehabilitation sites, behavioral health care and nursing homes. UPMC Health Systems also operates medical centers specializing in transplantation, cancer, neurosurgery, psychiatry, rehabilitation, geriatrics and women s health. It is based in Pittsburgh and is affiliated with the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center.
