      General Info
      Located in New York City, St. Luke's Hospital is an academic affiliate of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. It is a 1,000-plus-bed, full-service community and tertiary care hospital. Established in 1846, it offers clinical care services and offers contribution to researches. The hospital works in cooperation with various groups, including William F. Ryan Community Health Center and the Council Health Center. St. Luke's Hospital provides services related to interventional cardiology, neurosurgery, urology, radiation oncology and psychiatry. It offers pain management, coronary artery calcium detection and obstetrics and gynecology services. The hospital also maintains surgery department that conducts breast, pediatrics, thoracic, vascular and reconstructive surgeries. St. Luke's Hospital additionally operates headache and heart institutes and an emergency department and vascular malformations center. It is accredited by The Joint Commission and the College of American Pathologists and is a member of American Hospital Association and Association of American Medical Colleges.
