Finally convinced my husband to go to the emergency room to get his pain taken care of after THREE days! He goes to the hospital they do nothing for the pain and send him home with an rx... called to speak to the charge nurse and he was a piece of work! "Er is always busy.. today we had.. ( gives examples of patients seen) we gave him an rx what did you want me to do give narcotic injections?" To which i repled no I didn't mention narcotics.
i was then informed that if they were to give him motrin he could buy that over the counter...

Guess what they prescribed him to take home... MOTRIN. ����

SO in the words of the ER charge nurse only go here if you want to waste your time for 3 hours to get no help and recieve meds that you could buy OTC!

Hope you want to see what their morgue is like, because that's where you'll end up if you go here. Horrible place. More of a sanitorium than an hospital.

Went in for right face, neck and chest pain. It's true you go in and out real quick but no help at all. They said I had Muscle strain and ignored all my other symptoms that I told them I had been having. A muscle strain was not at ask what I had. Staff is friendly but no help no test no nothing to help!

Wasn't the worse emergency room visit I have had..

4 stars because it took about 2.5 hours to received any relief from the pain, and 6.5 hours to admit me.

I went in about Midnight with such pain in my right abdomen. I had to wait outside while my husband filled out papers because I could not stop throwing up.

I was there for about an hour and a half before anyone could see me, and the whole time I laid in the floor next to a trash can because I could not sit on the chair or stop throwing up.

Once they called me in, the Nurse was methodical, kind of like just going through the motions of something he does endlessly over and over everyday.

After a quick EKG. They finally gave me a pain shot and ran the test to confirm the diagnosis, and from then on my 3 day stay was as pleasant as can be when being so sick for the fist two days. They tried to keep me from being in such pain, keeping the pain meds and anti-nausea meds coming to relieve the pain as much as they could. Finally the Dr. found a good combination of meds that killed the PAIN. An hour later it was surgery time, and from that time on, I have felt better that I have in ages. Doctor's were great, most of the nurses were awesome (Nurse Laura), except one who had a slight attitude. I really have no complaints. I think I was treated well, and I am thankful for Menifee Valley Medical Center.

Great Hospital! Restructuring. Great Help there.

I had the fortunate experience to be in the ICU for 3 days. fortunate because I have never been treated so well. They really cared & showed it by being there whenever I needed help & when you are so vulnerable that means the world. Albiet it's a pretty exclusive club. The rich hospitals have nothing on Menifee.

I only gave it a star so I could get on. I was in E.R, per ambulance. When I was discharged from E.R, I was still sick with my head in a pan (Nausea). I will not give details as I know the medical field at times tracks and pegs a patient. I use to work in it. I would not even take one of my pets to Menifee Hospital through their E.R. All that is written above is correct as far as their Doctor's. The rest of their staff were very kind. They do what the Doctor order's. Dr Butcher is in the wrong profession. I had to go there 2 more times. The third time because the Butcher told me to return if the pain continued. The first time I met this idiot was around 2:30 am with severe head ache. My b/p was 199/85 the pain caused me to return after the first visit from the day before. (I was there from about 11:30am- 7pm the first visit). The last time I met him it was 180/44 (?). By the time they saw me b/p was back down to norm. Pain though not as intense was still present. Butcher told me at our first meeting to return and he'd give me an injection till I could see my doctor on Monday. This man was like Dr Jekle and Hyde. He was mean spirited and uncaring. Blasted me for coming back in a 12 hr period. He and I exchanged words and I walked out. I'm looking for a new medical facility, but when your are senior one is at their mercy. I have a measure of comfort in that "What goes around comes around" and I hope one day, if butcher gets to live into his senior years, all his cruelty (I'm sure I'm not the only one) comes back to him. I've encountered 3 of their different doctors, one did admitted me, but they suck. Here I sit at almost noon Sunday, and my head is hurting like mad. If I should get a stroke, I hope my family will sue the hell out of this place! By the way it is now 7:30 pm Sunday, I,m here because I got email and am correcting spelling erros...my head still hurts. it is almost continuely.I definately would not recommand the E,R. at Menifee Medical Center.

Worst hospital ever!!! Nurses are rude, lazy & uncaring

I couldn't make it from my car to the er. I sat on the bench in front of the hospital trying to waive down one of the two paramedics that were in front. I even stopped an employee and told him I thought I was having a stroke. NO ONE HELPED. I called 911 and they asked me where I was. Two aids finally came out and put me in a wheelchair and dragged me by my feet since there were no pedals to hold them. I was admitted for a TIA. I couldn't even see the paperwork. Then the nurse wanted me to walk in. The next aid said I was having a panic attack, The doctor lost his balance, a needle too big was put in my arm, I finally got a sandwich at midnite after I hadn't eaten all day. WHAT a nightmare.

Menifee Hospital ER and wards have the empathy level of a cobra strike.

It's better than dying at Hemet. At least people will have a place to park their cars when they come to say goodbye to you.

It sucks, it's small try Inland Valley instead.
